I had a very busy October...went to Birmingham on the 1st week of October, went to the fair the following weekend, went on our church's annual ladies retreat the weekend of October 15, went trunk-or-treating the next weekend, and finally hosted a Halloween party at my house on October 30.
Here is a picture of Abigail and Nirav from the fair. I hate to say that I only took a few photos that day because Abigail wasn't feeling well. She was recovering from having strep throat the previous week.
Ladies Retreat 2010
This year, we went to Tybee Island, GA for our ladies retreat and stayed in four beach houses. They were so nice that I didn't want to leave even though this was my first time away from my baby girl for more than a couple of hours. I was surprised that I did pretty good being away from her. I thought that it would be really hard but we were so busy and had so much fun that I kinda enjoyed having a little break. And it gave her daddy a chance to spend some quality time with her all by himself. Here is a picture of the whole group at the end of our retreat.

On October 23, we attended our church's annual trunk-or-treat. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was busy chasing after a runaway 18 month old. Thanks to Brandi for taking these pictures so I'd have some good pictures of this day.

On October 30, we hosted a Halloween party at our house. We hosted the dinner party and our neighborhood friends Josh and Ashley hosted the haunted house. We had a good turnout and the kids got to go trick-or-treating on the way to the haunted house.
